Papamat Dinosaurs Kids Playmat – Ultra Thick 1.5" Elasti-Foam for Play & Safety

I��m not sure what to make of this play mat. First, it is thick, and it is cushiony, and it is comfortable! But this mat is meant to be stationary, as it��s too big and thick to roll up and there is not a way to fold it up. When not using it, I have it leaning against a wall. I am also not thrilled about the fabric. It��s nice, it��s soft, and it��s microfiber. So it will get dirty and there is no way to clean it other than wiping it. I��m sure there is a good use for this �� maybe a rug-type setting where you are looking for extra cushion? Finally, after it expanded from shipping, I waited the seven days (or more) to get the wrinkles out, and they did not come out. In all, this is nice, it just doesn��t work well for my needs.

This is a pretty good mat, and it has been the perfect solution for our family during a very specific and wobbly stage of our baby's development. Our main priority was finding a play mat that was genuinely thick to provide real cushioning, and this one absolutely delivers.Our baby is just learning to crawl, a phase which, for him, involves a lot of determined lunges followed by the occasional face-plant. He would launch forward on our hard floor and bonk his head or face, which was stressful for him and for us. This is a nice, thick mat��the 1.5 inches of padding is substantial��and it provides the perfect safe surface for him to practice and tumble on without getting hurt. It has given us tremendous peace of mind knowing that his inevitable bumpy landings are now on a soft spot.The memory foam is dense and supportive. It��s soft enough to cushion falls but still firm enough for him to push off from during tummy time and while practicing his crawling moves. The cover is easy to wipe clean from drool, and the dinosaur pattern is cute and fun for his little play area.If your primary concern is finding a truly thick and protective play mat to keep your little one safe from bumps and bruises as they learn to roll, crawl, and sit up, I can't recommend this one enough. It does exactly what we were looking for.

My ONLY complaint about this mat is that I can't seem to find a cute square white playpen to fit perfectly around it like in the listing picture! But that's not really a complaint about the product, it's a great mat.It's actually as thick as it's supposed to be, which is not super common especially with foamy things that come vacuum packed (it fluffed up very quickly after unpacking). It's very comfy for me to sit on while playing with baby on the floor.It's nice and BIG, too. I can sit baby in the middle and be reasonably assured that if he tips himself over in any direction and I don't catch him in time, he won't smack himself on the hard floor, so it keeps him safe from bumps at least until he starts crawling.The dinosaur print is super cute and the fabric feels nice and strong and durable. Spot cleans easily and resists pilling so far. The nonslip backing works well. It's also lightweight but thick/stiff enough to store on its side against a wall, so it doesn't take up too much space.

We purchased about four playmats for our baby, all of which emphasized that they are thick, soft, and safe, but this one tops them all. We chose the dinosaur prints, and our little one loves the subtle colors. The mat is really thick and safe, even when the baby decides to jump and falls back headfirst. It's placed on our wooden floor and feels soft and safe. It does slide around a little, but that��s understandable. The texture provides a nice grip, ensuring that our baby can play comfortably without any worries. Plus, the playful designs keep her entertained, making it a perfect addition to our play area. The sizing is as advertised, and the material is soft yet strong at the same time. I would try to fold it for storage, but it's possible. I would even gift it to my friend since I like it that much.

This is GREAT! So nice to have for a 3 month old who is learning how to roll, crawl, and lift his head. We have almost all hard floor in our house, so this was a perfect buy for him to be able to have tummy time on the floor. Super cute design, with thick foam. It��s a sort of ��plastic�� cover, so it��s easy to wipe clean as needed. Love that it rolls up for easy storage in our apartment.
